MUBKA mounted and manned an educational display at the recent Malvern Seed and Plant Exchange. We were busy all day with requests for info and several people expressed a desire to offer their land as possible apiaries. If you are in need of an out apiary please email secretary Linda Blackett on leblackett@aol.com.

I also have a potential apiary site in Ryall. Please contact me (John Moseley) for details if you are interested.

I now have many requests for bee hives to be installed in the gardens of members of the public, so I will not post these individually. Please contact me if you are looking for a site for your bees.

Hi John,
We have two hives in our back garden, one of which has become quite feisty, to the extent where my next door neighbour is being chased and is now reluctant to tend her garden. We don't really have sufficient space to relocate the hives within the garden, so options would appear to be;
1. Replace the queen ( is it too late to do this?)in the hope that a new queen will calm the aggressive tendencies.
2. Relocate the hives in an out apiary.
With a view to realising option 2, do you know of any potential out apiaries in the west Malvern or Colwall area?
I have sent a feeler email to Colwall orchard group (as they're local). I await a response.
Regards
Karl and Annie
